About the Mckay School Alumni
Dear McKay School of Education Alumni,
BYU and the McKay School of Education have left an impact on us all. You may have met your spouse here or your first child arrived while you were struggling through school. Did you store your food storage in boxes at each end of the “desk” made from a door in the bedroom of your apartment? Did you buy groceries at Reams in the old skating rink that looked like an upside down mixing bowl and have the checker take ten percent off the total?
How about those classes or that student teaching experience? Where was the school of education located when you were in school? Were you under the football stadium when you worked on your Instructional Psychology and Technology degree? Did you take classes in the old BY High on lower campus? What was your student ward like? Do you still get together with friends from those days? Memories of these times are precious possessions. There are stories to be told to children and grandchildren. Memories of these times will be used to teach valuable lessons. Memories are forever.
The McKay School of Education Alumni Association is a committee of fellow alumni who want to help us remember and appreciate our college days. Through this Emeriti and Alumni web page, we will communicate information, resources and events that may interest you and help you stay connected.
