Each year BYU places 100 outstanding elementary education candidates as interns in partnership schools. These interns receive careful mentoring throughout the year. In addition to this general mentoring, the BYU A.R.T.S. Partnership is providing specialized mentoring to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in arts education and pedagogy for selected interns. BYU intern teachers who have an interest in elementary arts education and integration may apply to receive mentoring in an art form during their internship year. Selected interns will receive 5 classroom visits from their assigned mentor.
Information for Interns –Applications are available online or from your district liaison.
