Gifted & Talented Application

Teachers licensed in any state in elementary, secondary, and/or special education can apply for this program. Applicants must provide a record of their teaching experience, preferably in a public school setting.

Admission Qualifications

This endorsement is offered primarily to school districts participating in the BYU-Public School Partnership (Alpine, Jordan, Nebo, Provo, and Wasatch). Participation from districts or schools not in the Partnership will be on a space-available basis.

Application Materials

1.  Print or Download the following:

2.  Submit Application Form.

3.  Submit two official transcripts from each institution previously attended. These transcripts may be submitted with your application if they are in the sealed envelope provided by the college/university. Otherwise, please have the transcripts mailed directly to the address listed below under Application Materials.

4. Submit two letters of recommendation using the recommendation forms provided. Applicants who are currently teaching, must submit a letter from their direct administrator (i.e., school principal). For applicants with other teaching experience, letters verifying successful experience would be helpful (i.e., fellow teacher).
