  • My research and scholarly activities relate to four topical areas: (a) effective instructional strategies for students with mild to moderate disabilities; (b) special education teacher preparation; (c) children's literature, particularly the manner in which disabilities are portrayed; and (d) cultural diversity, including the recruitment and retention of ethnically diverse special educators.
