MS Program: Financial Aid
Financial assistance is available to students as described below, dependent on availability of funds and satisfactory progress in the program. For aid administered through the Department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education, application forms and additional information are available at the CPSE department office.

- Graduate Mentoring Award (funded by BYU Graduate Studies). Information is available in January of each school year.
- Graduate Research Fellowship Award (funded by BYU Graduate Studies) (www.byu.edu/gradstudies/grantsfellowships/).
- International Student Scholarships and Financial Aid. Contact Lisa M. Muranaka at the Multicultural Student Services Office (lisa_muranaka@byu.edu), contact the International Office (international.byu.edu/), or visit international.byu.edu/deans/scholarships.htm.
- Office of Prestigious Scholarships and Fellowships. External scholarships are available (see opsf.byu.edu/).
- University Accessibility Center Scholarships. Private scholarships are available to assist students with disabilities. See uac.byu.edu/ for more information.
- McKay School of Education Scholarships. Scholarships from the McKay School are available only during January-April each year. See education.byu.edu/deans/scholarships.html.
- Department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education financial support. Contact the department secretary for application forms and deadlines (diane_hancock@byu.edu/ see application form).
- The Horace Mann Scholarship Program for Educators is offering scholarships for educators in public and private schools to take college courses. The maximum award is $5,000. To be elligible, educators must be employed by a U.S. public or private school district or U.S. public or private college/university at the time of application and at the time the scholarship is awarded, and must have at least two years of teaching experience. These scholarships are not open to residents of Hawaii, New Jersey, or New York. The deadline is March 12, 2009.
