EAC Fingerprinting Times

Location: 120 MCKB

   

(Be sure to bring $10 on your signature card and a Government issued photo ID with you)

Mondays	8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Wednesdays and Thursdays	8:30a.m. -10:30a.m.
Tuesdays and Fridays	3:00p.m. -4:30p.m.

 

How to get registered:

1) Go to: www.utah.gov/teachers

           Click on: Background Check

2) Read and fill out the information.  Be sure the address you enter is a permanent address and the university you enter is Brigham Young University.

3) Pay the $69.00 fee with a major credit card.

4) You must generate the LiveScan authorization form from the Utah State Office of Education at the end of this process.

ATTENTION: You have 60 days from the date on the LiveScan authorization form to have your fingerprints taken.  If you go beyond the 60 days, you must start the process over again and pay an additional $69.00.  Please time your registration appropriately.

 

How to get fingerprinted:

1) After registering online with the state, they will send you an approval to have you fingerprinted.

2) Bring your authorization, a government issued photo ID and $10.00 (on your signature card) to 120 MCKB. 

3) Include a copy of your authorization form with your program application.

         

         Remember to:

              a) come a few minutes early to sign in

              b) bring a government issued photo ID

              c) bring $10 on your signature card for the fingerprinting fee

The fingerprinting usually takes 10-15 minutes and you can come any time between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  Please do not wait until the very end or you may face long lines or there might not be enough time left for you to be fingerprinted.
