LPP Program: Application & Admissions Information
Who can apply? Interested teachers, counselors, or other educators who hold a bachelor’s degree and who will have a Level 2 teaching license by August 1st prior to beginning internships.

School Leadership Program Information Meetings for 2010 Programs
The School Leadership Program has recently completed its annual information meetings for the 2010 programs.
For more information, potential applicants for LPP and ExSL Programs are strongly encouraged to:

University and Department Requirements
Applicants for the LPP Program must meet all University and Department application and admission requirements for the School Leadership Program.
LPP Application Information
Applicants for the LPP Program must also complete the following program-level requirements:
1. All application materials will be given to candidates at the Information Meeting, including the LPP Application Packet.
2. Submit a completed LPP Application Packet
3. Recommendation forms from your principal, school secretary, and five teachers who know your teaching abilities. Your principal should send all the recommendation forms to the department by December 11, 2009.
Please be aware there is no portfolio requirement for LPP applicants.
LPP Admissions Process
Campus Screening. Invitations will be sent in January to qualified applicants. Campus Screening involves interviews with faculty and school administrators. The screening also entails a group discussion activity.
Admissions. Applications will be notified about admissions to the LPP Program by mid-February.

Note:
- All LPP candidates must have proven proficiency in writing, web searches,and word processing skills.
- Your acceptance into the LPP program is contingent upon meeting the BYU requirements for admissions to graduate study.
