EDLF Masters' Program Overview

The M.Ed. degree in Educational Leadership and Foundations prepares students to become leaders in positions of responsibility in institutions concered with educational programs, such as principals, directors, superintendents in public and private organizations, advocacy groups, and not-for-profit organizations. Programs of study are designed to give students a solid theoretical and practical foundation to improve learning.

The M.Ed. programs are designed to be completed in one to two years; however, all work must be completed within five years.

I. School Leadership Program The School Leadership Program prepares students to become caring, competent and qualified school leaders.  This program facilitates the completion of the State-required administrative internship.  Students have the choice between two program options --  LPP (full-time) and ExSL (part-time):

II. Joint J.D./M.Ed. Program This program is established jointly between the EDLF department and the J. Reuben Clark Law School. EDLF will accept a maximum of 9 credit hours (approved by the M.Ed. committee) obtained in the Juris Doctorate program toward the M.Ed.

Masters Programs
