Master's Degree Program in Educational Leadership and Foundations
Overall Program Goals
- To give students a solid theoretical and practical foundation to improve learning
- Be completed in one to two years
- To prepare students to become leaders in positions of responsibility in educational institutions
Specific Programs Available
I. School Leadership Program
This program prepares students to become caring, competent, and qualified school leaders. It facilitates the completion of the state-required administrative internship.
Students have the choice between two tracks within the program:
- LPP - Leadership Preparation (full-time)
- ExSL - Executive School Leadership (part-time)
II. Joint JD/MEd Program
This program is established jointly between the EDLF Department and the J. Reuben Clark Law School. EDLF will accept toward its MEd a maximum of 9 credit hours (approved by the MEd committee) obtained in the Juris Doctor program.
