Career Opportunities for Education PhD Graduates

The Educational Inquiry, Measurement, and Evaluation (EIME) program produces graduates with education PhD degrees who have the knowledge, expertise, experience, and character traits to work productively as researchers, evaluators, policy analysts, assessment specialists, and/or professors in a variety of settings including:
- Private educational foundations (e.g. New Research Alliance for NYC Schools)
- Private research and development companies (e.g. RAND Corporation)
- Local and regional school districts (e.g. Alpine School District Research and Evaluation)
- State Offices of Education (e.g. Utah State Office of Education)
- Federal regional education laboratories (e.g. Westat)
- Testing development companies (e.g. Educational Measurement Group of Pearson)
- U.S. Department of Education
- Testing agencies for Professional Societies (e.g. National Board of Medical Examiners)
