Application Requirements and Deadlines

  • Elementary Ed majors please note:

If you do/did the New Zealand Cohort 2 program, you are not eligible for the National/International student teaching program.  To do both would take you out-and-about for 2 or your 4 semesters in the program, which is not allowed.  If you did not participate in the New Zealand program, your are welcome to apply for any of our programs.  Be aware, that in order to be considered for any of National/International programs you must have a signed statement of approval from your Liaison.

  • Secondary Ed majors please note:

The Mexico student teaching option is not available for some majors.  Please check with your specific department to see if it is allowed.  Also, Washington D.C. does not have any teaching opportunities for FACS-Home Ec. majors. So, student teaching in Washington D.C. is not an option for your major. In order to be considered for a National/Internation Student Teaching Program, all majors must have a signed statement of approval from their department/Major Program Supervisor.
