All students graduating with a teaching major must register with the Education Placement Office before starting your student teaching.

Purpose of Placement Files
Prospective employers will request copies of your placement file before you can go and interview.  For assistance in creating your file, or questions about the items that go into the file, contact the Education Placement Center.

Education Employment Listings
Organizations may also request that Education Placement advertise current employment opportunities.  You will have access to these employment postings once you have registered.

Campus Interviews/Recruitment Fairs
BYU students or alumni may register in 2400 WSC or online at www.educationplacement.byu.edu for an appointment with recruitment personnel from Utah school districts, as well as out-of-state personnel.  You may also register to attend the local recruitment fairs.

Information Materials
District directories, Utah teacher employment applications and other job-search materials are available in the Education Placement Office or on their website.
