Data

Are these data really useful? How important are the new actions teachers could take if they had access to these data?

Are these data typically collected and used by teachers? If so, are you proposing to use them in a novel way?

Tool and Process

Can a “normal” teacher really gather the data in question using the tool and process you’ve designed?

How inexpensive and easy to implement are your tool and process?

Screens and visualizations

Is it intuitively obvious how a teacher using your dashboards or visualizations can access the information needed to make the important decisions identified above?

Many data dashboards are overly cluttered, complicated, and difficult to read. How clean and simple is your visual design for supporting teacher decision-making? Have you created a novel technique for displaying data?
