About the Data Management Team

Aaron Popham, Director

Aaron recently passed the IRB exam, becoming the highest trained IRB professional on campus. He is married to the love of his life, Robyn, and they are the proud parents of five children. Of the many hats he wears on campus, his favorite says “LiveText guru.”

Kelli Brown

From Antioch, CA, Kelli sees life through the viewfinder of a Nikon SLR. The resident photographer of the data management team, Kelli uses her artistic sense to hone and polish the LiveText video podcasts. Kelli is heading up the LiveText next generation rollover, so if you are curious about the new product, ask her. When she isn’t working, Kelli hangs out with friends and watches movies. Focus…shoot.

She is looking forward to creating a bigger collection of books in Provo! In addition to books, Becca is also very interested in foreign languages and hopes to be studying more of those in the future. Joining LiveText in fall of 2009, she plans to stay for a while.

Melanie Kellis

Melanie Beginning with LiveText in fall of ’08, Melanie spends her time at work on CPAS, orientations, and playing “Name that Movie” with her sister. Melanie enjoys Pennsylvania (there’s no place like home!), flowers (tiger lilies anyone?), chocolates (preferably white), star gazing (sans light pollution), Rachmaninoff (18th Variation on a Theme of Paganini), and chick flicks (with happy endings). She patiently waits for the day when Panera Bread and Dunkin Donuts come to Utah. While the rest of America runs on Dunkin, Melanie helps BYU education majors make it through with LiveText.

Kristen Bikhazi

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kristen loves Mexican food, the Macarena, and piñatas.  When Kristen is not elbow deep in a cadaver, she enjoys making late night podcasts, giving elaborate LiveText orientations, and collaborating over computer problems.  When it comes to faculty and student support, Kristen can answer your questions faster than a speeding bullet--she is basically your everyday superwoman.

Mike Ellis

Hailing from Clifton, VA, Mike loves headdresses and “how-to’s.”  If your secret wish is to be oriented in LiveText, he is your man. In his leisure, he can be found playing the harmonica, strumming the six string, riding unisex bicycles or all of the above.
