Pamela Bingham

Pamela BinghamPamela Bingham began higher education at BYU.  One year later, she moved to Cleveland with her husband so he could attend dental school.  During this time she continued her education at Cleveland State University and John Carroll University.  While raising a family, she occasionally worked full time while continuing with her course work as best as possible.  She worked minimally as a substitute teacher, and as a property manager for 22 years with both residential and commercial interests.  She has also enjoyed serving in numerous callings in the Church.  Twenty years later, she returned to BYU and completed her B.A. in English and geography.  “The process,” says Pamela, “which took two decades for me, was beneficial in that I learned to love learning.”  This love was passed on to her children as they watched their mother fully engaged in obtaining her education.  Pamela enjoys volunteering in the family homeless shelter near her home and is currently serving in the Young Women organization.  Pamela and her husband, Tad, also a BYU alumnus, are the parents of four children.
