BS in Special Education: 2017–2018 Program Requirements

The BS in Special Education is a limited-enrollment program requiring department admissions approval. It is designed to prepare students to teach in public schools. In order to graduate with this major, students are required to complete Utah State Office of Education (USOE) licensing requirements. For more information regarding program requirements, please contact the Education Advisement Center (350 MCKB). 

Professional Education Organizations for Students

To broaden their point of view even further, EIME PhD students are encouraged to actively participate in inquiry-oriented professional societies by reading journals and other publications, attending and making presentations at annual meetings, and serving on committees, etc. The following are a few such societies:
