Benjamin has a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University Of Phoenix and bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah State University. He taught Special Ed for 3 years in a Self-Contained classroom for students with emotional and behavior disorder and taught an intervention call for at-risk youth. His responsibilities at BYU-PSBI include managing and coordinating data collection and office technology.
