Technology Skills Assessment :: Presentations
To successfully complete this task, you must be able to complete the skills shown below. A sample task is also provided so you can practice the skills before taking the technology assessment. You may complete the task on your own or you may choose to go through our step by step tutorial. The content and data needed for this assignment will be provided as well.

Create a presentation to use with your students about the Civil War. The presentation should look identical to the example shown on the right (same layout, colors, font, etc). You can use the content for the presentation provided (to help you save time). When you are finished, save your presentation as a file called "civil_war.ppt". Make sure you include the following elements:
- A picture of Lincoln and a picture of Douglas from the links provided
- Provide the proper link to the image you use if not the same image int he sample presentation
- Maroon color scheme (gold titles in 44 point Arial centered font, white text in 32 point centered Arial font, image source text in gold 18 point Arial font).
- Slide transitions "checkerboard down"
- Animation effects that bring images into the slide from the right and left as shown in example
- An audio clip with clapping at the end of the presentation
- Automatic slide transitions
- Audio narration of the presentation
