Utilizing the Creative Ecosystem of Your Mind in Art and Story

Sessions 1 & 2: Grades 1-6

Our subconscious mind is a creative powerhouse. Allowing it to inform the direction of an artwork can have magical results. Responding to each layer and mark as a project progresses, rather than planning out a project in its entirety, often produces an expected and exciting end result that one couldn’t create through planning. We’ll utilize this philosophy to create a small illustrated book with a story and a character (a character that can stand up on its own!)
