Karie Cooper is an elementary teacher with a passion for arts integration and the pathways it provides to deepen understanding, while teaching essential skills and dispositions. She has served as a classroom teacher in 3rd and 6th grades, created school wide arts opportunities for students, and coached teachers as a mentor for Utah Festival Opera for Children. She is currently finishing a masters degree in Education Leadership at Brigham Young University.
Terrell A. Young
Terrell A. Young is professor of education, with an emphasis in children’s literature at the David O. McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University. Young is a coauthor and editor of a number of books. He previously taught in public elementary schools in Utah and Wyoming, and private elementary schools in Venezuela. Terry has enjoyed serving on numerous award committees, and has authored numerous publications.
