Fred A. Schwendiman Award (Staff) –– February 15, 2015 This award recognizes a staff employee for exemplary contributions to the university through consistent and superior service.

Staff President's Appreciation –– February 15, 2015 This award recognizes staff and administrative personnel for exceptional service, creativity, and competence.

Smoot Citizenship – February 15, 2015 This award is presented to university faculty members who demonstrate those qualities of service and personal sacrifice to the university that were exhibited by Abraham O. Smoot.

Maeser Professional Faculty – February 15, 2015 This award recognizes outstanding achievement in fulfilling professional faculty responsibilities and is made possible by the generosity of the Karl G. Maeser Scholarship Society.

Brigham Award – January 31, 2015 The Brigham Awards seek to recognize five BYU students, faculty, or staff for their genuine commitment, example, and contributions to others throughout the world and/or the BYU community. The awards will be given to those who demonstrate consistent qualities of selflessness, charity, and service to others.

Adjunct Faculty Excellence – February 15, 2015 This award recognizes the contributions of part-time faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching or in other professional responsibilities over a period of at least five years.

Religious Education Transfer Professor – February 15, 2015 This award recognizes excellence in providing outstanding teaching in Religious Education outside of a faculty member’s discipline.

Alcuin Fellowship – February 15, 2015 This award recognizes outstanding teacher-scholars whose work at the university transcends the limits of their disciplines and who have made significant contributions to the general education and honors curriculums.

Maeser Excellence in Teaching – February 15, 2015 This award honors faculty members for outstanding teaching accomplishments and is made possible by the generosity of the Karl G. Maeser Scholarship Society.

Maeser Distinguished Faculty Lecturer – February 15, 2015 This award, BYU’s most prestigious faculty award, is provided through the generosity of the Karl G. Maeser Scholarship Society. The recipient must have demonstrated clear superiority in both scholarship and teaching.

Maeser Research and Creative Arts (beyond local or regional boundaries) – February 15, 2015 This award honors faculty members for outstanding research and creative accomplishments and is made possible by the generosity of the Karl G. Maeser Scholarship Society.

Wesley P. Lloyd for Distinction in Graduate Education (teaching, research, mentoring) – February 15, 2015 This award pays tribute to faculty members of exemplary performance in teaching, research/creative work, and citizenship in graduate education.

Phi Kappa Phi Faculty –– February 15, 2015 This award is presented to faculty members who have achieved excellence in scholarly and creative endeavors, exemplify integrity, and have contributed to BYU through citizenship and service.

University Professorships (senior faculty) – February 15, 2015 This award encourages and acknowledges senior faculty members who are outstanding scholars, teachers, and university citizens. It may specifically recognize excellence in scholarship and creative work or reward superior classroom teaching.

Alumni Professorship – February 15, 2015 This award honors faculty members for teaching excellence. The award carries a three-year stipend made possible by the generosity of the BYU Alumni Association.

Young Scholar (3–10 yrs asst or assoc faculty) – February 15, 2015 This award encourages and acknowledges outstanding promise and contributions by faculty members in the early stages of their academic careers.

BYU Class of 49 (3–10 yrs asst or assoc faculty) – February 15, 2015 This award acknowledges outstanding contributions by junior faculty members. It is made possible by the generosity of the Class of 1949.

Cluff Excellence in Educational Research or Teaching – September 1, 2016 A BYU faculty member whose research has contributed to the improvement of teaching and learning.

Cluff Excellence in Public School Support – September 1, 2016 A BYU faculty member who has made a strong contribution to the preparation of BYU education candidates.

Cluff Excellence in Public School Support – September 1, 2016 A public school employee who has made an excellent contribution to the mentoring and support of BYU education candidates.
