A: Salt Lake City
Q: What and where have you studied?
A: I did my undergrad degree and PhD in education and leadership policy at the University of Utah and my MPA at BYU.
Q: Where have you previously worked?
A: I worked as both a second- and sixth-grade teacher in Salt Lake City School District; I also worked for a research journal, Educational Administration Quarterly, at the University of Utah.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the McKay School?
A: My favorite thing about the McKay School is the people. The faculty and staff are like none other, and the students are amazing.
Q: What do you regret not starting or doing when you were younger?
A: I regret not starting the Harry Potter series sooner! While my entire family was reading them and loving them, I was a bit of a holdout. It took me a few years, but now I’m a huge fan.
Q: What would you rate 10/10?
A: Cutler’s milk chocolate chip cookies and mint brownies
Q: What is your go-to weeknight meal?
A: Spaghetti and salad
Q: Where is your favorite place to go on vacation?
A: Lake Powell or Bear Lake
Q: What invention doesn’t get a lot of love but has greatly improved the world?
A: The heated car seat. I use it basically every day.
