EdLF faculty Pam Hallam and Macleans Geo-JaJa traveled to South Africa with students Preston Overson and Jacob Bills to discuss future collaboration on research with two universities. The group met with the dean of the education department at University of the Western Cape, where they discussed inclusion and multilingualism. Preston and Jacob gave a presentation to the faculty showcasing Brigham Young University and their research. They also visited with the dean of the education department and faculty at Stellenbosch University, where they talked about ways to increase diversity and inclusion at universities. This opportunity was made possible because of an enhanced learning grant offered through the McKay School of Education.
