Joseph LambertAfter witnessing the mistreatment of his autistic older brother in several group homes, Joseph Lambert decided he would someday open his own group home. To start the process of achieving this goal, he came to BYU to study special education.

He graduated in 2007. He earned his master’s degree in applied behavior analysis at Northeastern University in Boston, where he also worked at the New England Center for Children, a premiere research school for autistic children. He received his doctoral degree in disability disciplines from Utah State University. In 2013 the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services honored him as the Graduate Research Assistant of the Year.

He is currently teaching at Vanderbilt University. Joseph and his wife, Melissa, are the parents of two.
