Upcoming External Grant Opportunities:

August 1, 2020: Stage 2 proposals due for The Brady Education Foundation grant. From their website:

“The Brady Education Foundation seeks to close the educational opportunity gaps associated with race, ethnicity, and family income. The foundation pursues its mission by promoting collaboration among researchers, educators, and other stakeholders via the funding of research and program evaluations that . . . [can inform] private funders and public policy.”

tyto all faculty who submitted their 2019 MSE annual funding reports on time! We use excerpts from these reports in our annual review. Our 2019 MSE Annual Grant Review will also include internal grant funding statistics and is shared with BYU administrators and donors. If you haven’t already submitted your reports, please do so as soon as possible.
Upcoming Research Development Workshop

BYU Faculty Proposal Development Boot Camp
May 11–14, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. in 270 MB

Faculty who attended this boot camp in the past found it to be very helpful. Technical writing professor Jon Balzotti, PhD, will provide hands-on proposal writing instruction. By the end of the bootcamp, you will have completed the first draft of a proposal. Lunch provided. RSVP to save your spot!
