The Communication Disorders (ComD) major is a limited enrollment program and 100 students are admitted to the major each year. Students interested in majoring in ComD should declare Pre-ComD as a major and will need to apply for admission to the ComD major after completing the prerequisite requirements.

The School Leadership Program is designed to be completed within two years. Students may design their own custom track. However, all students must complete the program within five years. All courses (both BYU and transfer credits) may not be more than five years past at the time of graduation.
The masters degree program in speech-language pathology at Brigham Young University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.
The EdLF Department has very limited financial aid for its students. Students interested in obtaining financial aid should submit the Educational Leadership Application for Financial Aid by the last Friday in May. Students may submit their application any time prior to the deadline; however, the School Leadership Program Committee reviews applications and allocates the financial aid in July to help support tuition for the fall and winter semesters.
