Mentored research assistantships are a form of financial assistance allowing education doctoral students to work closely with a BYU faculty member on an education research project for a semester or longer. Through research assistantships students receive practical experience, valuable mentoring, and financial assistance. Research assistantships can provide work up to 20 hours a week and be valued up to $19,000.
