Letter of Recommendations
A letter of recommendation is a document written by a professor, employer, or other professional who can speak to your academic abilities, work ethic, and potential for success in a master's program. It provides the admissions committee with an external perspective on your qualifications, strengths, and readiness for graduate studies. Typically, a strong letter includes details about your skills, accomplishments, and character, along with specific examples that illustrate your ability to excel in a rigorous academic environment. If you are applying from a country where letters of recommendation are not a common requirement, consider asking a supervisor, instructor, or mentor who is familiar with your work to provide a formal statement about your qualifications and potential as a graduate student. The letter should be written on official letterhead, if possible, and should highlight why you would be a strong candidate for the program.
