Financial assistance is available to students as described below, depending on availability of funds and satisfactory progress in the program. No applications are required for financial aid.

Partial Tuition Scholarships

Each student in the program will receive some tuition scholarship money during the first four years of the program. The amounts will vary from year to year, depending on funding, and may decrease slightly as students move through the program and become engaged in paid clerkship opportunities.

Graduate Assistantships

Each student, through the first four years in the program, will have the opportunity to be employed on a graduate research assistantship. These assistantships involve working with faculty members on research projects, curriculum development, teaching, and other assignments for five to 20 hours per week. Several other agencies on campus, such as the Counseling and Career Center, often request doctoral students to serve as graduate assistants.
