Megan Langford is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education at Brigham Young University. With over two decades of experience in special education, teacher preparation, and professional development, Megan has held roles ranging from Special Education Teacher to District Specialist and Adjunct Faculty at multiple universities. Her academic credentials include a Master of Science in Special Education from Brigham Young University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Special Education Minor.
Megan has dedicated her career to mentoring educators, enhancing instructional practices, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. She is a certified Dyslexia Specialist and a licensed professional educator with endorsements in school leadership, mentor coaching, instructional coaching, mathematics, and reading. Her leadership roles include serving as President of the Utah Council for Exceptional Children and participating in state and national initiatives for teacher development and educational reform. Megan is a recognized international presenter and workshop facilitator, focusing on effective teaching strategies, collaborative practices, and special education.
She remains committed to fostering inclusive education and equipping future educators with the tools to make meaningful impacts in their classrooms and communities.
