We are so incredibly grateful for the dedication, energy, and fresh perspectives you bring to our schools every day. We know being a student teacher or intern is an exhausting, isolating, challenging, overwhelming, and at times discouraging experience. At BYU, we believe that teaching is not only a profession but also a sacred calling.
We want to gather you all for one day to spend time strengthening you, building you up, offering our support, providing tips and techniques to help you in your classroom tomorrow. We seek to remind you of your divine purpose, provide spiritual encouragement, and help you develop some strategies and creative ideas for the school year ahead.
We have created a day of rest, renewal, and revival just for you! We want you to step away from the regular classroom setting to focus entirely on your professional growth, well-being, and unique needs as emerging educators. This day is completely for you and will not count as personal time off or need to be made up.
