I have studied Professional Learning Communities and Systems Theory in Physical Education at The University of Texas, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Brigham Young University.

What is your current job title? Please describe what you do in that position.
Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Teacher Education. I mentor prospective physical education teachers and coaches including supervising student teachers.
Why did you choose to work at BYU?
I couldn't wait to get back to BYU! I enjoy the combination of secular learning through a gospel lens.
What is your favorite thing about the McKay School?
The students and faculty.
Growing up, what teacher inspired you the most? How?
I was inspired by so many teachers and coaches that it would be difficult to choose just one. I felt they genuinely cared about me and my future.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being a husband and father of five wonderful children.
What do you regret not starting or doing when you were younger?
Anything to do with music. My wife and kids are very talented and I have no musical talent.
What was the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
A professional basketball or baseball player.
