Firefly Poem

Sometimes at night, before the moon shines bright . . .
you can see a little light
     floating in the night
     floating left and right.
But don't take fright.
It's just a little bug in flight.
It carries its own light.
Lots of little lights . . .
     floating in the night.
What a sight!

Sometimes at night, you can see a flickering light.
You can see the light floating in the night.
You can see the light before the moon shines bright.
It seems to float left and right.
But don't take fright.
It's just a little bug in flight.
It carries its own light.
Lots of little lights float in the night.
What a sight!
