SEEL Target Texts

Share a Slice of Cake

I made a cake—a spice cake.
I did not get it at a store.
I will ice the cake.
And then we can share the cake.

Do you like cake?
Let’s get the plates!
I will use a knife to cut a slice of cake for you.
And a slice of cake for me.
I can share the cake with you.
You can share a slice with me.
You can share a slice of cake with your mom or dad.

Do you like the cake I made?
Do you like the spice cake I gave you?
Maybe next time I will make a lime cake.
Maybe I’ll make a cake with your name and a rose.
