A Rope on the Ski Slope

I know of a great ski slope.
But when there’s no snow, I start to mope.
I wait for snow with such great hope.
Then I strap on my skis and grab the rope.
The rope pulls me up the slope.
And I ski down with hope.
I hope I won’t fall.
Then I stop and begin to mope.
What happened to my hope?
Will I cope with the bumps on the slope?
I will not give up hope. Nope!
I will ski down the slope.
Before I know it, I’ll make it down that slope!

I Mope If I Can’t Go to the Slopes

I like to go to the ski slopes.
I mope when there isn’t any snow.
But I’m not a dope! Nope!
I always go when there is snow.
When it is snowing, I don’t lope along.
I quickly get to the slopes.
I hang onto the rope and let it pull me up.
Then I ski down the slope with such great hope.
