A Stew with a Slew of Screws

We made a stew that could feed a crew.
We even threw some screws into the stew.

We threw in a few new screws and a slew of old screws.
We threw in screws that we drew.
We threw a slew of screws in the stew. Whew!
The stew grew and grew and grew.
It was a stew big enough to feed a crew.

We knew not to chew the screws in the stew.
Screws are things we cannot chew.
And we cannot chew the things we drew.

We threw out the stew.
We said, "Ew!" to the stew with a slew of screws.

Make a Cube From a Tube

I made a cube out of a tube!
You can make a cube out of a tube, too.

You will need a tube and some tools.
The tools you will use are scissors and a spoon.

Use scissors to cut the tube.
Cut two small parts [about 1 ½ inch] off the tube.
Cut one of the parts to make it even smaller.

Use a spoon as a tool to make the small parts flat.
Fold and bend the tube parts into the shape of a cube.
Push the small part of the cube into the bigger part.
You can use glue to keep the cube parts together.
