Stone in my Cone

I went to get an ice cream cone.
I licked the ice cream in the cone.
Then I felt something in my cone.
There was a stone in my cone!
So I picked up the phone and called the cone store.
A guy said, “What, a stone in your cone?”
Who put a stone in your cone?
Put down that phone and bring me your cone.”
So we traded a cone with a stone for a cone with no stone.

A Cone without a Stone

I got an ice cream cone.
Oh no! What’s in my cone?
There’s a stone in my cone!
I do NOT want a cone with a stone!
Did you get a stone in your cone?
I got an ice cream cone.
Oh no! What’s in my cone?
There’s a bone in my cone!
I do NOT want a cone with a bone!
Did you get a bone in your cone?
Do you want a cone with a bone or a stone?
I don’t want a cone with a stone or a bone!
I do NOT want a stone or a bone in MY cone!
I want just a plain ice cream cone!

A Rope on the Ski Slope

I know of a great ski slope.
But nope, I can’t go to the slope today.
When there is no snow, I start to mope.
I have to cope when I cannot go to the slope.
I wait for snow with such great hope.

A day with snow! I can go to the slope.
I strap on my skis and grope for the rope.
The rope pulls me up the slope.
And I will ski down and hope I won’t fall.
I will cope with the bumps on the slope.
I will not give up hope. Nope!
I will ski down the slope.
I’ll make it down that slope!

I Mope If I Can’t Go to the Slopes

I like to go to the ski slopes.
I mope when there isn’t any snow.
But I’m not a dope! Nope!
I hope for snow and go when it snows.

I go quickly to get to the slopes.
I hang onto the rope and let it pull me up.
Then I ski down the slope.
I don’t mope when I’m on the slopes.

I Chose a Rose

I chose a rose.
The rose was a pretty, red rose.
I put the rose to my nose to smell the rose.
I posed with the rose.
I chose a funny pose.
I suppose that I chose the best pose.
And I chose a pretty rose.

Droopy Goop

Droopy, goopy, gooey goo!
How do we make goop and goopy, gooey, goo?
Add water to flour or cornstarch and poof!
Woo-hoo! Gooey goo!
Use a spoon to scoop up some goo.

Watch the goo droop off the spoon.
