Make a Light Take Flight
Here is how you can make light take flight:

Get a flashlight and turn on the light.

Shine the bright light high, low, left, and right.

Let the light move quickly to take flight.

Look at many sights with the light.
Now, turn off the bright light.
Close your eyes tight.
Sleep through the night.
Dream of the sights you saw on the light’s flight.

We can use a flashlight to make light take flight.

There are lots of things I can do in the light!

In night’s light, I can see a firefly in flight.
In night’s light, I can see the moon's silver light.

Bright Light
We can play a game with our eyes shut tight.
Let’s shut our eyes tight.
Now it is night.
Night! Night! There is no light.
We open our eyes and see a flashlight.
We make a face that can give a fright.
What a sight!

Here and there we see a nice sight.

The Flight of a Kite in the Sunlight
Today might be a good day to fly my kite.
It is a bright and windy day.
I hold on tight to my kite as it takes flight.
I hope my kite doesn’t fly out of sight.
When my kite is in flight, it’s such a sight!
I fly my kite until the light leaves and the night comes.
I’ll have to wait for the bright sunlight to fly my kite again.
Unless . . . there is bright moonlight to fly my kite in!
