Rock on a Sock

I have a rock.
I put my rock on a sock.
I have a rock.
I put my rock on a lock.
I have a rock.
I put my rock on a block.
I have a rock.
I put my rock on a clock.
I cannot see a sock, lock, block, or clock.
They are under a rock!
 
Activity:  Have a sheet with different -ock words and other previously introduced target words written on it. Give each student a small rock. Call out an -ock word and have a student find the word and place their rock on it.

It is Not Just a Box

Mr. Fox wants a box.
But he does not want just a box.
 
He wants a box to hide socks. 
He wants a box to keep rocks.
He wants a box to hold clocks.
He wants a box to carry blocks.
He wants a box to use as his lunchbox.
 
Mr. Fox doesn’t want a plain, old box.
He wants a box for his lunch and his blocks, rocks, and socks.
