You can make shadows of things.
You can make a shadow of a shoe.
Hold up a shoe and shine a light behind the shoe.
You made a shadow of the shoe!

If you shine light on shorts or a sheet, you will get shadows.
And, If you had a shark, ship, or sheep, you could get shadows of them too!
