Peer Mentorship

Two women on the peer mentorship team.

The goal of BYU's ComD Peer Mentoring Program is to empower students to realize their full potential both in the Communication Disorders major and beyond. Peer mentoring is available for all students and particularly encouraged for students from underrepresented groups. We strive to develop a sense of belonging in individuals, as well as a culture of belonging in the Communication Disorders major, and beyond.

The peer mentoring team consists of 8 undergraduate peer mentors, supported by 2 BYU ComD graduate students (Belonging Ambassadors), and 3 faculty members from the Belonging and Equity Committee in ComD (BE in ComD).
