Echoes of Hammers & Spikes: Unknown Stories around the Golden Spike Come Alive in Your Classroom

Session 3: Grades K-6

The transcontinental railroad was an impossible dream. So was "Echoes of Hammers and Spikes". But the Magnificent Seven believed. In spite of impossible odds, a unique Utah storytellers' and songwriters' approach to the story of the most celebrated event in 19th century Utah now exists for classroom use. The behind-the-scenes stories, demonstrations of the resources available online, and intimate performances complete this workshop.
