Echoes of Hammers & Spikes: Unknown Stories around the Golden Spike Come Alive in Your Classroom

The transcontinental railroad was an impossible dream. So was "Echoes of Hammers and Spikes". But the Magnificent Seven believed. In spite of impossible odds, a unique Utah storytellers' and songwriters' approach to the story of the most celebrated event in 19th century Utah now exists for classroom use. The behind-the-scenes stories, demonstrations of the resources available online, and intimate performances complete this workshop.
