Information for Student Teaching in China
China is a country steeped in five thousand years of history and tradition, but it is also becoming one of the most developed civilizations in the world. From its largest cities of 20 million inhabitants to the countryside where rice is still planted by hand, China offers a great diversity of experience. Located in the southern part of the country, 75 miles south of Hong Kong, Guangzhou is the third-largest city in China and is home to almost 13 million people.
Students will complete their student-teaching requirements in the Clifford School during fall semester.
Application for the Program
To apply to student teach in China, you must submit the following applications to the Education Advisement Center (350 MCKB):
Accepted applicants are required to take a 1-credit class during the second term of winter semester. It is one night a week for 7 weeks.
