This year students in the special education program had the opportunity to visit
Hungary and Austria, exploring the inspiring doctrine of belonging!
"I was able to interact with God’s children in countries that I have never been
to before. I saw how much joy these students have and I felt God’s love for
them. I felt His hand in their life."
Six students from the McKay School Leadership Fellows had the opportunity to
visit Washington D.C. and study leadership through the lens of
belonging.
“Really what it means to be a leader is to be like Jesus Christ. He is the
perfect example of a leader, and he has shown us the perfect example of
belonging. Christ’s atonement reaches everyone and we all belong in the Body of
Christ.”
Eight students had the opportunity to visit Peru this year, setting up a seminar
and teaching the locals about BYU Pathways.
"I think that the visit we've had will have a great impact. Things are going to
improve. Above all, it has bridged some of the gaps caused by a lack of
understanding.
I think Pathway has been designed for us and helps us progress here, in this
part of Zion."
