1. Complete the online graduate studies application (click here). All application materials must be submitted online to graduate studies. Materials required by CPSE will be forwarded to the department. Your statement of intent should specifically address reasons why you want to be a school psychologist, what you hope to accomplish in your career, and should show that you clearly understand the role of a school psychologist as a psychology professional in educational settings.

  2. Provide the names and email addresses of three people to provide good recommendation letters for you.
  3. Include one transcript from each institution previously attended.

Please note that all students admitted to our program must pass a background check (small fee) and fingerprinting before they can observe and work in Utah schools as part of our program.

Applications are due December 15. Students apply for the program in the fall; application decisions are made during winter and spring, and students who are admitted will start in the fall of the following year. Applicants may check the status of their application on the website.
